A showcase of the best of Highland and military culture and traditions, set against the stunning backdrop of Fort George near Inverness.
Hosted in the largest military fort in the UK and produced by Major Bruce Hitchings, the Highland Military Tattoo brings together top military performers, talented young local performers and some of the world’s finest re-enactors.
Getting off to a roaring start with our now traditional Typhoon fly past and culminating with a stunning fireworks display, the Highland Military Tattoo is not to be missed.
‘Even better than last year!’ ‘What an awesome show!’ ‘Really authentic and friendly event, thank you so much!’ are just some of the hundreds of comments we have received about this year’s Tattoo at Fort George. We had a great mix of acts which included having a Sopwith Camel and Spitfire on the arena as well as a flying display by a WW1 biplane. It is amazing how the performers deliver such a high quality show with so little rehearsal time.
Our visitors were treated to food and drinks in the dramatic surroundings of Fort George. There were displays to see and performers to chat too. Yet another memorable Tattoo year : authentic, spectacular and friendly. Thank you to those who came and thank you to all who made it possible.
